Mason Johnson 40 months:
1.
The child has made progress in the following
areas: Mason has made the most progress in his language development,
vocabulary, social skills, and cognition. When Mason first started here we with
your involvement placed him in speech therapy, and now his language and words
are easily understood. He is almost ready to graduate out of speech therapy. He
has been using bigger words such as important, reward, expecting. Mason
is also venturing into the Dramatic Play Center daily. He is Practicing problem
solving as well.
2.
Mason really enjoys the Block Center, as well as
activities that require sorting and dividing things into groups. (Sorting colored
marbles into their appropriate destination in the egg carton.)
3.
Mason gets very excited outside. He acts as if
he has been set free. He is attentive
when he is in the block center. He pays great detail to the position of the
blocks. He is very focused in the block center.
4.
Allowing him to redirect his energy in racing
outside or doing laps on the bicycle trail on the playground.
5.
The family could help Mason with his sharing.
The easiest way to do this is to display acts of sharing openly as examples.
